Event Start Date : 16/04/2026 Event End Date 16/04/2026
A Save Water Campaign was successfully organized at LalaJagatNarain DAV Model School under the aegis of Jal Pakhwada 2026, with the objective of creating awareness among students about the importance of water conservation. The programme was conducted under the able guidance of the Officiating Teacher Incharge, Mrs. Rajni Gupta, and coordinated by Mrs. Seema Bhatia.
The campaign aimed to sensitize students towards the judicious use of water and to instill a sense of responsibility for preserving this precious natural resource. During the programme, students were educated about simple yet effective methods of conserving water in their daily lives, such as turning off taps properly, avoiding unnecessary wastage, and using water mindfully.
A Jal Shapath (Water Pledge) was administered, wherein students and teachers collectively pledged to conserve water and spread awareness within their communities. The primary classes actively participated in taking the pledge, reflecting enthusiasm and commitment towards the cause.
The campaign proved to be highly impactful, as it not only enhanced awareness but also motivated students to adopt sustainable practices. It reinforced the message that every drop counts and that collective efforts are essential for ensuring a better and water-secure future.
Overall, the initiative was a meaningful step towards nurturing environmentally responsible citizens and promoting the importance of water conservation within the school community.
